We recently visited Oshkosh, WI. for a camping trip with our son. The trip was awesome and Wisconsin is a beautiful state. The lakes and landscape must make Wisconsin a photographers paradise in the Fall and Spring. It appears to be true that Bajans are everywhere because we were taking pictures by the Barbados flag and a man shouted "hey Bajie" while passing in his vehicle. Knowing that another Bajan was in the area helped to make the trip special. Our journey took us through Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin and was almost 21 hours each way. What a road trip! We thought that was long until we found out that a guy rode 2000 miles from Washington State to Oshkosh on his bicycle.

I recently visited Milwaukee WI for a conference. This is a pic of the Midwest Airlines Center where most of the sessions were conducted. Milwaukee is a really awesome city. Great hospitality and really nice food. The cheese is great!

Gun Hill Signal Station and the Lion at Gun Hill St. George are good places to relax and enjoy the central part of the country. This picture was taken on 7-15-09. Photo by NME
