This afternoon we had a very nice visit to the Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Houston, Texas. Here is one of the many photos of butterflies that we took. These are rice paper butterflies. Photo by NME.

Day 38: Burj Dubai

I recently got the opportunity to visit Dubai, United Arab Emirates on an overnight lay-over. I went on a night tour and saw several of the popular places of interest. Obviously, a visit to the Burj Khalifa (2,717ft,) - the world's tallest skyscraper was the highlight. It is difficult to determine which building was the most impressive. I sum up the two hour tour with two words - awesome construction. Sorry about the leaning building on the right side of the photo, that is my doing not the construction. Buy me a tilt-shift lens if you pity me. Thanks in advance.
