Move over Magellan, I am ready for my trip to Portugal. Wishful thinking, I did not even make it out of Texas. We made a family trip to Blue Bell Creameries this past summer and had a great time.
Anyone following this blog knows that we have been attracting monarch butterflies for a few years. Well, today we witnessed nine monarch butterflies emerge. Wow!
We planted zinnias two years ago and have not planted any since but they keep coming back every year. Someone in my family say that there are like a bad rash but I just love them. Here is one of the first blooms this year.
Here is a pic of the baked salmon I prepared today. I wished that I had come up with this recipe on my own but I had some help from YouTube here . I have been told that I cannot cook but no one can argue that I can at least follow instructions because it tasted great. I cannot wait to prepare it again.
It is that time of year again and the trail riders are headed to Houston for the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show. The Prarie View Trail Ride came on campus yesterday for the annual parade and chili cook off. As usual it rained but it has become a tradition for me to get a few pictures so I braved the rain.
I recently made a trip to Barbados and took the opportunity to do a short video at Heywoods Beach, St. Peter. I hope you enjoy it. Isn't the sound of that water relaxing?
